The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Art Basel Miami Beach, GITEX GLOBAL and the MEBAA Show all take place in December 2026. Together they put F1 guests, art collectors, technology investors and business-aviation buyers through five airports across ten days: AUH in Abu Dhabi, DXB and DWC in Dubai, and MIA and OPF in Miami.
December at a glance

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix opens the run on Thursday 3 December; Art Basel Miami Beach shares the weekend of 4 to 6 December; GITEX GLOBAL starts on Monday 7 December and the MEBAA Show runs 8 to 10 December.
Where the audiences land
Three cities, five airports. Abu Dhabi hosts the Grand Prix, Miami hosts Art Basel, and Dubai hosts both GITEX GLOBAL and the MEBAA Show.
Why this month
These are not four loose dates. They run back to back, and each one sends a high-spend audience through a major gateway airport.
- Ten days, three cities. Art Basel opens its VIP preview on Wednesday 2 December, the Grand Prix weekend runs Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 December, and GITEX GLOBAL closes the run on Friday 11 December.
- One weekend, two continents. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Art Basel Miami Beach both run through the weekend of 4 to 6 December, so luxury, banking and property brands can reach F1 guests and art collectors in the same days.
- One Dubai week, two audiences. GITEX GLOBAL (7 to 11 December) and the MEBAA Show (8 to 10 December) both use DXB and DWC, so a single Dubai plan can cover technology and investment delegates as well as business-aviation buyers.
- The window is short. The first event opens on 2 December, so confirm inventory now rather than waiting for the week itself.
The four events
1. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (3–6 Dec)

The 2026 Formula 1 season closes at Yas Marina Circuit from 3 to 6 December. As the final race, the weekend traditionally draws superyacht arrivals at Yas Marina, a surge in private aviation into Abu Dhabi and a global broadcast audience. The plan starts at Zayed International (AUH), adds Dubai International (DXB) for visitors combining the race with a wider UAE stay, and follows them to the hotel corridor and Yas Marina. Luxury, hospitality, automotive, private banking and real estate brands fit best. Full media plan
2. Art Basel Miami Beach (4–6 Dec)

Art Basel Miami Beach runs at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with public days on 4 to 6 December and VIP preview days on 2 and 3 December. It anchors Miami Art Week, when collectors, gallerists and family-office buyers move between the fair, gallery districts and private previews. The plan reaches commercial arrivals at Miami International (MIA) and private jets at Miami-Opa Locka Executive (OPF). Fine art, watches and jewellery, private banking, luxury real estate and premium hospitality fit best. Full media plan
3. GITEX GLOBAL (7–11 Dec)

GITEX GLOBAL moves to a new home at Expo City Dubai and runs from 7 to 11 December. The audience is founders, enterprise buyers, investors and government delegations, and they arrive through Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) before they reach the show floor. Airport arrivals media and city placements reach them while they are still forming their shortlist of vendors and partners. Technology, fintech, telecoms, cloud, cybersecurity and B2B brands fit best. Full media plan
4. MEBAA Show (8–10 Dec)

The Middle East's leading business aviation exhibition returns to the Dubai Airshow site at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) from 8 to 10 December. The organiser describes an audience from more than 100 countries. A three-day run concentrates aircraft buyers, operators, brokers and high-value travellers into a tight arrival window, reached at DXB, the main arrival gateway, and at DWC itself. Private aviation services, luxury, real estate, wealth management and premium automotive brands fit best. Full media plan
How to combine them
- The 4–6 December weekend. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (AUH, DXB) and Art Basel Miami Beach (MIA, OPF) run on the same days, so a luxury or wealth brand can run one creative across both audiences.
- One Dubai plan, 7–11 December. GITEX GLOBAL and the MEBAA Show share DXB and DWC, so one plan covers the technology and investor audience as well as aircraft buyers, with the busiest overlap on 8 to 10 December.
- Add the private-jet layer. OPF in Miami, AUH in Abu Dhabi and DWC in Dubai reach principals who skip scheduled flights, a segment that commercial arrivals halls do not isolate.
- Categories that travel. Private banking and wealth management, premium real estate and luxury brands fit at least three of the four events.
